The Zhongshan Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment officially awarded Haiyuesheng Lighting the title of "Green Manufacturing Demonstration Enterprise," recognizing its outstanding contributions to energy-efficient product development and green production. The evaluation was conducted across six key dimensions, including production energy consumption, pollutant emissions, and resource recycling, and Haiyuesheng Lighting outperformed industry standards in multiple indicators.
On the product side, the company’s entire lineup of LED lighting fixtures utilizes high-efficiency, energy-saving chips, achieving an average energy consumption 20% lower than the national Level 1 energy efficiency standard—and reducing carbon emissions by 1,200 tons annually.
In production, the company has established a rainwater recycling system and advanced wastewater treatment facilities, enabling a wastewater recovery rate of over 95%. The treated water is then repurposed for workshop cleaning and greenery irrigation.
Additionally, the company has implemented “green supply chain” management practices, requiring suppliers to provide environmental certification documents and prioritizing the procurement of biodegradable packaging materials—resulting in a yearly reduction of 3 tons in plastic usage.
“We plan to leverage policy-driven funding to ramp up research and development in green technologies, with a goal of launching energy-efficient products boasting luminous efficacy exceeding 160 lm/W within the year,” said Tang Jianhai. He added that green manufacturing has already become one of the company’s core competitive advantages.
