Haiyue Sheng Lighting expands its intelligent manufacturing base, upgrading production capacity to align with industry transformation.

In response to Zhongshan City's call for the digital transformation of its lighting industry, Haiyuesheng Lighting has invested 12 million yuan to expand its production base in Dongfeng Town, Zhongshan. Recently, two new automated LED lighting production lines were officially put into operation. Stepping into the upgraded workshop, one can see robotic arms precisely performing tasks such as component placement and luminaire assembly, while AGV robots efficiently shuttle back and forth transporting materials—making the entire production process fully "unmanned."
The new production line covers the entire process—from chip mounting and soldering to assembly and inspection—and incorporates advanced smart equipment such as AOI optical inspection systems and automated aging tests. As a result, production efficiency has increased by 40% compared to traditional lines, with each line now capable of producing up to 800 sets per day.
"Previously, inspecting 1,000 lighting units would require five workers working all day. Now, our automated inspection equipment can complete the task in just two hours—boasting an accuracy rate of 99.9%," explained Production Manager Chen Qiang.
After the expansion, the facility’s annual production capacity has surged from 300,000 sets to 500,000 sets, enabling it to better serve overseas orders as well as domestic government procurement projects.
Leveraging Zhongshan's robust industrial ecosystem, the base benefits from being surrounded by more than 50 component suppliers within a 10-kilometer radius, ensuring a "half-hour supply chain response time." This strategic location also helps reduce raw material procurement costs by 15%.
